Ingredients:
150 g dark chocolate
70% cocoa
125 g soft butter
150 g cane sugar
2 eggs
100 g plain flour
½ tsp baking powder
150 g chopped walnuts
Method:
- Heat the oven to 200 C
- Melt the dark chocolate in a bowl over a pan of simmering water, stirring continually. Let cool slightly.
- Beat the butter and sugar in a bowl until creamy. Beat in the eggs gradually, then add the chocolate. Mix the flour, baking powder, and walnuts; stir into the chocolate mixture.
- Butter a brownie tin and sprinkle it with flour. Pour the mixture into the brownie tin, smooth it, and bake for 30 minutes. Turn out onto a wire rack to cool.
